Video TranscriptionWhile at Juilliard I organized weekly string quartet readings. A friend who came to these readings asked me if I would like to read at a place he went to so I went and it turned out that the person was a major donor to Juilliard. As time went on I learned that she had purchased a Strad for someone and this got me thinking. You see, Jacques Francais showed me a violin, it was a Pressenda, in his shop that I really wanted. So I got my courage up and called her. She invited me to her home and I told her about the violin but that I had not the means to purchase it and then asked if she would. Total chutzpah!! After discussing it she said that I would have to wait. Her response so annoyed me that I never again went to her soirees. Automatic video-to-text transcription by DaDaScribe.com |
