Introduction to Why I Teach

So many things have happened to me during my life as a violinist, but when I started to think about why I teach, the influence that my former teachers and others had on me became glaringly obvious.

In this section of the series, Why I Teach, What I Teach, and How I Teach, I thought it would be appropriate to look back and recall some of those moments that influenced the way I think and so the way I teach.

I've left these vignettes rather open -ended on purpose, as I hope that it will give you a moment of reflection, the same one that I had when I experienced them.
