How can I find the correct shoulder rest for playing violin? There are no music store within 100 miles of us. We live in Dolan Springs AZ. In Las Vegas there are stores called Family Music they supply the schools and for private lessons, they do not carry the shoulder rest for me we tried. We have gone to others as well. My problem is when I put the violin in the center of instrument there is a big gap under violin. I have tried warping the thin drawer rubber type around a shoulder rest and tried to use no shoulder rest no improvement. I even tried a viola shoulder rest but legs will not stay attached. I turn the violin which interferes with playing I have learned to compensate, but still I do not like I cannot play correctly.. I have been playing violin for almost two years now with no success with finding correct shoulder rest. Carolyn
