Rating: 5 Beethovan Sonata Op.13 was an inspiration by Ray Kelley * VSM MEMBER * on April 13, 2017 @10:58 am PST
The Beethoven Pathetique is a gratifying challenge for me. Chopin and Mendelsohn have been my most played Virtual Sheet Music choices to date. However, other composers do inspire me to practice a variety of styles. We have several young (13-17) grandchildren who have been visiting us during Easter break. Most of them play instruments including the piano. Darcy, a very talented flute player had given up the piano over a year ago. Happily, after hearing me practice the 1st & 2nd movement, she has gone back to playing the piano, and wants to accompany me on the cello. Rating: 5 Virtual Sheet Music Changed My Musical Life! by Ray Kelley * VSM MEMBER * on February 17, 2017 @1:01 pm PST
Virtual Sheet Music has changed my musical life. I have been a professional cello player for 61 years Utah Symphony, 1956, Dallas Symphony, 1957-63, Los Angeles Philharmonic, 1963-68, Free lance LA recording industry 1968-present, currently Principal cello on The Simpsons TV show.
As a hobby and mental exercise, I returned to playing piano at age 65 after buying an Essex Steinway brand baby grand for our home in Palm Springs. Not wanting to buy expensive editions of piano music, I found Virtual Sheet Music Online. Not only have I saved a considerable amount of $$, I have re-learned the piano and enjoy playing almost every day. My favorites are Chopin Nocturnes, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Bach. I'm certain that I would not have made so much progress without having a yearly subscription at a very reasonable cost, and access to a vast library of selections at Virtual Sheet Music!

Rating: 5 tough by Sandro on December 26, 2012 @8:14 pm PST
Yikes, this piece was a LOT tougher than I'm used to.
Got any easier versions ?!
But, you guys rock: getting the music so quick and easy was such a treat !!!

If I were to add any suggestions: it would be
1. offer easier versions ( for us light-weight beginners)
2. do like Amazon, and make suggestions for other pieces based on what we buy

thanks !

This is the "real" Moonlight Sonata- no shortcuts!
Excellent quality sheet music, plus you get the mp3's and other files so you can hear how it's supposed to sound. Very good return for a small investment. No complaints at all.
