Rating: 4 Mozart Horn Concerto for the Clarinet by on July 23, 2007 @3:14 am PST
One of the well known Mozart Concertos, originally written for the French Horn, and composed in the key of D. The transposition to Bb and arrangement for Clarinet in Bb and Piano keeps the mood of the piece, albeit in a more subdued tone because Bb major is not quite as triumphal in tone as Dmajor, but works very well as a clarinet piece. Charming tunes and highly enjoyable to play and to expand the repertoire for the Clarinet.
