Desperate tuba players
please, please, pretty please, some tuba euphonium quartets! Absolutely anything already arranged for a quartet in the VSM catalogue will do!! I have lots of stuff already, but with two quartets and a large ensemble running, I am going through a LOT of pieces!
Upper parts are ok in tenor or bass clef. Lower parts, bass clef.
Sue ( only a little desperate really!)

Hello Sue and thank you for your post.
Well, are you asking for pieces for four tubas? Please, let me know if I have correctly understood.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,

A tuba - euphonium quartet is mostly two euphoniums for the top two voices, and two tubas for the bottom two voices.
Hope this helps. We're all graduate or senior student players, so range isn't a problem in either direction.
Thanks
Sue

Are two euphoniums in Bb (treble clef) and 2 tubas in C (bass clef)? Just to know...
Thanks,

Actually, both the Euph. and the Tuba are bass clef instruments. The Euph. will read tenor clef at times though. My brother plays a Euphonium. He has a Jupiter. (I know, the best brand out there..... :rolleyes)

Well, usually Euphonium in Bb (Euphonium) is written in treble clef.. or I'am wrong? If so, what is the difference between the Euphonium and tuba if they are written in the same clef and with the same transposition? Maybe just their range?
Thank you for your thoughts.
Sincerely,
