Some good clarinet resources?

I play the flute and im really good at it but now i want to start playing the clarinet. What kind should i get thats cheap and affordable, yet durable? And anything else i need to know about clarinets. Also are there any good clarinet websites out there with good,accurate information?
Also...whats a good brand to look for and whats not?

You need to be careful when playing instruments which require different muscles to blow them. Your emboucher will change when playing a flute and a clarinet. So maybe that is something to think about.

Selmer clarinets are ok and so are the yamaha ones. Buffet Crampon is what I play but it was a little more expensive than you are wanting to pay.
