Writing a Musical

Yes, I'm writing a musical and I'm having a time with it, let me tell you. I'm completely stuck and don't know what else to write. And I can't write any music yet because my new notation system hasn't yet come in. Does anyone want to help me out with it?

Like, the one you write sort of in play format, but instead of a lot of dialogue, people sing half of it instead. I guess you could say more or less a Broadway Musical that will probably never make it. Is that what you're asking? Or you asking like, whether it's a comedy, drama, or something like that?

I'm asking like, whether it's a comedy, drama, or something like that? I am just wondering.

Oh, lol. It's sort of a romantic/drama type thing. A young pianist and composer that doesn't know how to read music (she plays by ear) meets a trumpet player her age who teaches her some music theory. Her parents are extremely against the music field and refuse to let her learn music and they eventually ban her from even looking at her grandmother's piano. She keeps talking to the guy who teaches her though, and they eventually fall for each other. As she becomes a better musician, her parents change their minds and in the end everyone is happy. I just haven't gotten past where her parents ban her from music. I don't know how to get eveyone to change their minds.

Oh, and the name of it is: "Trapped in the World of Music"
