Rating: 1 Worst edition ever by on March 14, 2013 @9:12 am PST
I'm not arguing the genius of Vivaldi, the piece is definitely a must learn for any violinist. But this particular edition is worthless. There is no accents, no stacattos what so ever. Looks like the whole concert should be played detache. Bowing is very different from what I learnt 15 years ago. Great musicians don't need dynamics written, but I'm not claiming to be one, I'm an amateur and need help. Hopefully, paid editions are more usefull than this one, but I'm not willing to check it out.

great piece, as one of my favorite conductors once said, "Great composers don't write dynamics and great musicians don't need them written"
Rating: 4 Pretty Good Overall by on April 17, 2008 @6:24 pm PST
I love this piece .
I have played for 5 years .
This is an exceptional piece that proves challenging an will really test you .
Although it is repetitve (as much of Vivaldi's work is), it is great with dynamics, rythm, and bowing.
