Rating: 4 Ah arrangement that captures an authentic feel. by  * VSM MEMBER * on August 22, 2011 @2:25 am PST
I must confess that this song is a favorite of mine, and an arrangement must carry the feel of Piaf's singing. I am happy to say the memories of Piaf emerge immediately you start to play this version. My only thought was that it was a little too simple. But it provides a good basis for an average pianist to flesh out to taste and skill level. I have been playing for many years, and found this easily provided a good foundation for the more experienced pianist to build on. But a pianist with more basic skills should also be at ease with it.
