I have always loved the song "Green Leaves of Summer," a continuing theme in the movie "The Alamo." However, I never realized it was in pub-lication. Having watched the movie for the (millionth?) time last Sunday,I thought I'd look it up on Virtual Sheet Music. I transpose it to a key I could sing, and downloaded. I am a classical singer, but often insert good folk music in my concert material. This song will be a great addition, especially with the history it carries.
