 | Baroque clarinet by Rich Rachlin on March 16th, 2008 |
| Well, the piece has apparently been transposed to be played in C on a B flat instrument. I have recently started playing a copy of a Zencker two-key clarinet in D, which I "think" is the original key, so I'll have to rewrite the whole thing in the "correct" key, which would be in D to read from a concert part on the baroque instrument - or should it be transposed to read in C on the D clarinet? I rated it "high" because of the extremely high tessitura for such an early instrument - I believe it should be up a third. Some notes would be helpful. | Add your own review!
