Increasing the Interest  by on September 27th, 2009
The arrangement is a bit predictable. It might have been preferable to give the melody (which in Bach's original is in thirds and must stay in thirds) to the piano alone and with the entrance of the chorale theme, let the cello carry the melody. This would increase the difficulty for the pianist but would make a more interesting piece.
