We had to fiddle around a bit with the arrangement to make it the right length for a wedding processional... We cut out most of the repeated chorale section (mm. 24-38). (only 2 bridesmaids - short aisle!) Other than the flute's peculiar held note in measure 62-63, the arrangement worked for us.

I sightread this at a wedding gig, and both my pianist and myself wished we had a better version of this. The first section repeats over and over again more than needed, therefore it acheives a rather monotonous effect before even going to the harmonic change. It was, however, easy to read and looked good, but I would recommend that this be revised slightly to be more in tune with the original format.

I didn't know this service existed, and was so happy to find this arrangement for flute and piano. I needed it in a bind for special music at church. My only complaints - no markings for measures, and no tonal markings (emotive markings, piano, forte, etc...).

I loved playing this piece for my Christmas Eve service. The piece really shows the Flute player. Usually Flute/Piano pieces show case the Piano. But this piece was different, the piano was accompanying me. I recommend this piece to everyone. Not hard to play at all. A wonderful piece for any occasion.

I love this piece of music! I have been playing for 21 years and have played this at weddings and christmas services. You need a lot of breath support to get through this piece. I certainly recommend this piece for somebody who has been playing for a few years.
