Hi, this is Robert Estrin at LivingPianos.com and this is Morning Improv and it's a very special Morning Improv. I've lived in Southern California for a long time and we're used to it being sunny every day. I remember when I first moved to Southern California, I actually thought it was a joke that they even had the weather report because every single day was exactly the same. It was that perfectly blue Disneyland sky, and anyway, you get used to that after a while and we have had the rainiest winter I can ever remember. It rains every single day for months now and it's been... I mean, if you live in Portland, you're used to that thing, but here in Southern California, you get spoiled.
So, today it is a sunny day and it is a real joy and I'm going to play a Morning Improv for you with the joyful sunny day that I have before me and that we get to all enjoy here. Hope you enjoy the music.
So, that was a little nice, pleasant, sunny day improvisation for you. I hope you've enjoyed it on this beautiful Steinway seven foot piano that's a joy to play here at LivingPianos.com, your online piano store.

When buying a new grand piano, what does an expert look for? Can the touch of the piano be altered by a technician? If so will the new touch last for a significant amount of time?
Pianos require regular maintenance in order to play on a high level. As parts wear, regulation must be adjusted. The stability of the environment helps to reduce maintenance. Touch can be adjusted to some extent if parts are already in excellent condition and are the correct specifications for the specific piano.
