Is there a way to hear a piece of music your are interested in
reply
Fabrizio Ferrari - moderator and CEO, on November 25, 2020 @5:14 pm PST
Hello James and thank you for your inquiry.

For VSM items, you'll find audio files included. Just scroll down the page of the piece you are interested in to find audio files (that you can also download if you like).

For Hal Leonard items, only the interactive ones can be played and listened to. The non-interactive ones don't include any audio files.

Some Alfred items instead contain Mp3 preview files, while others don't.

Finally, Schott items don't include any audio file.

So, the answer to your question is actually: it depends on the music publisher. If you like, I'll be happy to assist you step-by-step. Please, tell me the title of the music you'd be interested in, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with detailed instructions.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you!

Dear Barry, thank you for your kind inquiry, I am so glad to know you like what we offer here. Appreciated!

As for your inquiry, we don't have anything like that at the moment in our own editions (VSM editions), but we should have something by Hal Leonard or Alfred of that repertoire. Do you have any specific titles or composers for me to look for? Or any preferred genres?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you again.

Do you have a Christian contemporary section.
reply
Fabrizio Ferrari - moderator and CEO, on October 6, 2019 @4:39 pm PST
Hi Betty and thank you for your inquiry.

All Christian music (both traditional and contemporary) are listed under the Christian genre section on the page below:

https://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/christian/

You can browse by ensemble, instrument, skill level, etc. You can also search for specific titles, authors, composers, or artists in that category.

Please, let me know if you need any more specific help with that, I'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks again.

All the best,

how do I put my saved music choices into Dropbox via email?

Fabrizio Ferrari - moderator and CEO, on April 8, 2019 @2:01 pm PST
Hi Pam and thank you for your inquiry.

I am not sure to understand your question, but using Dropbox myself, I am not aware of a way to "send" or "save" files into Dropbox via email. You may want to check with Dropbox support.

Please, let me know if you have any further questions.

Dear Lopirus,

thank you for your inquiry.

To find your purchased accompaniment video, you have different options:

1. Click on the retrieval link we sent you via email at the moment of your purchase, alternatively enter your receipt number on the page below:

https://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/downloads/retrieval.html

2. Search for it by entering the title of the piece plus the keyword "accompaniment" in the main search field at the top of every page of the site.

3. Start from the PIano Accompaniment Videos main page and find it in the provided list:

https://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/pav/

Please, let me know if you need any further help.

I wished I could browse by Key.
"Jingle Bells in D"
reply
Fabrizio Ferrari - moderator and CEO, on December 10, 2018 @3:23 pm PST
Hi Mike and thank you for your inquiry.

Well, that's something we plan to work on, but since most of our music includes interactive sheet music, you should be able to transpose pretty much everything in any key you like.

In the case of Jingle Bells, if you are interested in the simplest version we have of it for piano solo:

https://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/score/JingleBellsPf.html

Once there, click the Interactive/Transposition button in the top toolbar (right over the sheet music). That'll open a new view with the transposable version of it. You'll be able to transpose it up/down a little bit, but not in any key, and I am afraid not in the key of D for that specific version (not all the scores have that limit though -- we are working to allow transposition in any key for all the scores)

In any case, please, let me know what version of Jingle Bells you'd like to have in the key of D and I'll help you further.

Thanks again.
