So one day after a month of trying this with a shoulder rest, da da da da da da da, I put my violin up without a shoulder rest. And it went immediately like that. With all the training I had, I went, no, back up. Back on that shoulder. Next they came. Put it. And it went immediately. And I went, whatever, just play it that way. And all of a sudden...

I could never play Sibelius from the beginning through those first four or five lines, while making one at least mistake. Well, no mistakes. I was amazed.
