 | Classical fun by Jo on October 3rd, 2009 |
| I bought the music for my still-soprano musical grandson and his singer mother. It is a wonderful short piece for the two soprano voices. The accompaniment is gorgeous, even on just the piano. | | | A very 'Catty' piece! by Francine Ash on March 7th, 2009 |
| This is a delightful piece, and is very good as an encore. As it stands, it's not difficult for the singers or the the accompanist, but it's a piece which can easily be developed and elaborated. The flourishes can be extended into full-blown 'cadenzas', and the opportunities for comedy are endless!!(See the wonderful performance by Dame Felicity Lott and Miss Anne Murray.)Thank you for your wonderful site, and excellent service. | | | Fun and funny. by A Nonny Mouse on February 12th, 2008 |
| A hilarious piece, and sounds great, too! Not especially challenging but so much fun. Definitely recommended. | | | Cat's Duet-Hillarious Classic by anonymous on December 1st, 2007 |
| Composer Rossini wrote a lot of funny and amusing pieces. I recently started working on this particular piece with my voice teacher and we both loved it...probably because none of us is a catty Primadonna. Personally I found it very amusing and not too difficult. | | | A crowd pleaser, for what it's worth. by Gamelan, MMus, PhD on August 21st, 2007 |
| A fine encore piece. Realy, it should be done in costume (like "Cats"...horrific), or two guys in drag. Rossini would LOVE it, wherever he is! | | | Cat's duet has class (MEMBER) on July 21st, 2007 |
| A challenging but fun piece of music. They knew how to write them in the "old days" | | | Hilarious!! by Sean%2BHsu (MEMBER) on April 28th, 2007 |
| For some reason, I can't stop laughing when I see the music.
The melody is good, and the words are... uh... even better. | Add your own review!
