| I got an alto flute as a graduation present and after playing around with it for a few days I decided I needed some music, now. Luckily I discovered this wonderful site, Virtual Sheet Music. Hooray!
Anyway, this group of duets transcribed for flute and alto flute is very nice and very challenging. My major complaint is that all of the pieces are quite fast, with no slow, elegant selections. As well, some of the lines for alto flute don't take advantage of the alto flute's beautiful low register as much as I'd like.
Overall a good purchase I'd recommend to anyone with an alto flute in the mood for some classical! | Add your own review!
