About Stephanie Lewis
Stephanie LewisAfter a music degree from Oxford and a post-grad from Edinburgh, Stephanie has spent the last 15 years working in Italian international schools. From developing study programmes for all age groups to writing orchestral/vocal arrangements, international teaching has taken her way beyond those initial violin and piano origins of (frankly!) long ago.

Her videos reflect this with generic topic choices that inspire all, whether professional, amateur, young or old, to get involved and share in the debate. Besides doing monthly VSM videos, Stephanie writes the occasional composition, has an online general music instruction programme (KnowHowMusic) and, like the late Yehudi Menuhin, regularly practices Iyengar yoga (though this is where the similarity ends!)!

She also works in training where she delivers multi-disciplinary creative laboratories to companies seeking courses which encourage creative, lateral thinking and more effective "soft skills." She also has small "music appreciation" groups which periodically go out and enjoy the musical delights in Milan, her adopted home of more than 15 years.
