I may have several pieces to suggest to you, but here is the key question: do you want to find something by Beethoven specifically to be "realistic" in your Novel or any other piece would work as well? If had to give you a suggestion, I'd try to make it realistic, hence trying to find a real piece by Beethoven if possible.
