Reviews about Beethoven - Violin Sonata Op.24 No.5 "Spring" for violin and piano interactive list:

Rating: 5 Wonderful piece to play by  * VSM MEMBER * on August 2, 2009 @1:47 pm PST
This is my favourite sonata and the score is detailed, accurate and easy to read. The backing tracks work well for practice. Technically it is not much more difficult than Grade 8 - but it is obviously a longer and more involved piece. There are no suggested fingerings in the edition - although if you are able to play at this level then you probably don't need them anyway. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent piece which is quite challenging and fun to play. From the beginning to the end, both instruments are literally singing! It is the creativity of Beethoven that allows the voices of these instruments to become so inextricably intertwined, that one could not just exist without the other. Piano part is a lot harder than the violin part, and obviously would require an advanced piano player. The second movement, Adagio Molto Espressivo, is my fav one to play as a violinist..

Would recommend everyone to have a go at this piece.
