Video TranscriptionI was about to play the 1st movement of the d minor Wieniawski concerto at the Underwood Auditorium at George Peabody College campus in a Delay master class set up by Stephen Clapp. I had never met Ms Delay and was nervous so I decided to wait in a conference room in back of the hall that had stone walls. Suddenly the door opened and Ms Delay entered. I turned as she walked behind me and sat at the other end of the table. I was petrified. After what seemed like an eternity to me she finally spoke, saying that the room reminded her of being in a castle. She asked me if I had ever been to a castle and I said, “No,” and she replied, “You will!”. She left without saying another word.
