Video TranscriptionI was in New York along with one of my SoCal friends and he invited me to a party given by his parents in lower Manhattan. I knew that his father was a banker and a major contributor to Broadway shows so I took care with how I dressed. As I wasn't very rich I only had my pseudo-suede suit to wear which had a worn out patch on the left leg. But as this was a party with people moving around I didn't think this would be a problem. So we got there and it was a swanky building for sure. We took the elevator and pushed the buzzer. The door opened to the living room of the apartment and to my surprise everyone was seated against the walls. We were introduced from the middle of the room and that's when I suddenly felt embarrassed as they were all looking and silently judging me... me who had a patch in my left leg trouser. But I didn't panic and simply crossed my legs, standing, and smiled as I looked around the room! Automatic video-to-text transcription by DaDaScribe.com |
