Dear Georg,
thank you for your nice review about Ave Verum Corpus for a choir.

From what you describe, it looks like you are looking for a string quartet version of this piece. Maybe you'd be more interested in our own version for string quartet or string orchestra:

Please, let me know.

Thank you again!

All the best,
Georg * VSM MEMBER * on May 2019
The string quartet is not a recorder quartet. The problem about it is to transpose the viola clef.

I am sorry Georg, I don't understand. Are you looking for a version of Ave Verum for recorder quartet? Please, let me know.

Thank you.

Sorry, that I didn't explain well. We play as little group in a nearby chapel with a centre for people from nearby and others longtime disoccupied. Our instruments: a cello, and we have a flute, and two of us play recorder. We have recorder from bass to sopran. We had a liturgy for somebody died by cancer and we wanted to play Ave Verum with instruments. And therefore I looked for a version which was easily adapted for our instruments. And I was glad to find the version for the choir which was better for us than the version for a string quartet.

Thank you Georg for clarifying. Ok, I see now. If you like, we can transpose any part of our own version for string quartet into a recorder or a flute. Or you can try to adapt the other version we have for wind quintet:

Please, let me know how you'd like us to help.

Thanks again.
