There are so many editions of these Sonatas that I strongly urge working with this one electronically. If using "forScore" the 1/2 page turn makes it very easy for students to rehearse through the page turns. Of course you can also invest in a foot pedal page turner!

I was glad this was the complete score. I started playing the organ at 13 (now 65). Early training was classical and show tunes. I played organ for years in pop and jazz bands professionally but alway felt my piano skills were lacking and I really wanted to get back into classical roots so I decided to start with Mozart, one of my favorites.. I have 7 grandchildren now and hope to expose then to good music. I thought it would be good to brush up my own skills first.

Enjoy! by CHURCHORGAN77Sonata Alla Turca is a wonderful sonata, and definitley one of Mozarts best, but I strongly believe that the first and second movements are highly overlooked. The Rondo Alla Turca, the third movement, is by far the most popular, and people tend to forget the theme-and-variations first movement and minuet second movement that prove to lead to it. A true music lover will tell you that it isn't just the fast fury of a piece that makes it nice to listen to, musical intelligence and slow thought alsio contribute to a nice piece of music. So while visiting this web site, please scroll up and listen to the audio clips of the first and second movements. Trust me, as a pianist and organist all my life, I have never been dissappointed. Mozart dedicated his entire life to creating beautiful music for you: please don't overlook it.

even though i think all sheet music shoud be free! Not so Hard by RudolphI know this piece by heart, and I assure you it was not so easy at first. But it was the first difficult piece I learned only in 3 weeks! And I'm only 13. So it shouldn't be that difficult.
Get ready for a challenge by RussI have taken piano in my younger years and now my daughter is taking piano. She has encouraged me to get back into it. I love this piece from one of the Baby Einstein CDs and decided to get it and see if I could break it apart and eventually learn it. It may take 5 years, but I'm willing to try!
