Wedding Quintet combination of Wind and Brass version by Clariboe * VSM MEMBER * on June 2020

With this pandemic still in place, there are 5 musicians from this band I played with, who decided to form an Ensemble to play together (considering social distancing). For music for this new group, was able to utilize your Interactive Sheet Music app to transpose down a tone for Air, Largo & Cantabile parts of the Wind Quintet to then also print, matching the keys of the Brass Quintet printed version.
No transposition required for Traumerei. Now we have parts for our Ensemble: Oboe (playing Flute part), Clarinet, French Horn, Alto Sax (playing Trombone part-adding 3 #'s) and Euphonium (playing Bassoon part).
This music at least gets some of us to once again to find music for our new Ensemble to play physically with other musicians.

Good website for scores by Ello Wind Quintet on September 2011

We´re from Spain, and buy in Virtual Sheet Music has been easy and cheap. All great and the score too, of course.

Good collection, but instrumentation needs work by Craig on August 2009

This is a very useful collection to have- plenty of music for processional, recessional, and musical offerings, with some nice variety (it's not all Baroque like some other collections I have found).
Be prepared, though, to do lots of cutting and pasting between parts if you want the balance of instruments to work out. The way the collection is written, the flute ALWAYS has the melody and is usually too low to be heard. The oboe part also tends to dwell in an uncomfortably loud and low register. My quintet changed some things around to give other instruments the melody, and the music worked great. [this review is about Wedding Collection (parts) included in this item]
